US Drugstore Haul

About 2 months ago, I went on an amazing holiday to Florida and , obviously, I spent a fair chunk of my time there shopping for makeup. I had to, right? It’s taken me a while to get a haul together, I’ve just been too busy! I bought so much stuff that I’ll have to divide it into 3 sections: Drugstore, High End and a Colourpop Haul! First up, drugstore!

I basically had 2 rules for myself when shopping for drug store makeup in the US: 1. Only get things I can’t easily access in the UK 2. Keep lipsticks to a minimum (I ordered waaaay too many on Colourpop to be allowed to buy more). So, when I entered the hallowed halls of Ulta, Walgreens and the Walmart beauty section, I kind of went a little crazy. I think I got a variety and it’s all stuff I really wanted, so it’s not that bad, right?

Cohorted Beauty Box Black Edition: May 2016 Review

This month’s Cohorted Beauty Box post is a little late. Sorry, my bad, I wasn’t in when it arrived and had an agonising few days wait until I could pick it up. I promise it’s worth the wait. Recently, they’ve been knocking it out of the park with these boxes and this is definitely no exception! See last month’s here to see what I mean.

The Black Edition Beauty Box from Cohorted is a £35 per month subscription and contains 4-5 full sized high-end and luxury beauty products, with the occasional extra sample thrown in for good measure. Huge Makeup Revolution Haul April 2016

It’s been far too long since since I last had a big old Makeup Revolution haul (you can see it here). It feels long overdue! Since my 3 month no-buy just ended and I needed to pick up a few bits, I thought I’d take advantage of the great offer they had – spend £30 and get a mystery bag containing £25 worth of products for free. That’s too good to refuse!

Make Up and Beauty Products I Received For Christmas 2015

I know I’m really late with this as Christmas was ages ago, but you can’t blame me for wanting to keep the Christmas spirit alive for a little longer. I’ve been loving reading this type of post, so I thought I’d make one of my own!

I was well and truly spoiled year; I’ve got some amazing people in my life who have been ridiculously generous. I figured that since I mainly talk about beauty here, I’d share the make-up and beauty products I was given. I got a ton of bath and body products that I haven’t included, but I’d be more than happy to do another post if you fancy a nosey.

December Favourites 2015

December was a crazy month. It always is with Christmas, uni deadlines, New Year’s Eve and travelling to visit everyone. Sometimes, there’s barely a minute to think. Make up and beauty products always bring me back to Earth. When I’m doing my make up, I’m so calm and relaxed, I don’t care what else is going on. These are the products that helped me retain my zen in December.

November Favourites 2015

It’s been a hot minute since my last favourites post, I am soooo late getting this up. But at least I did it – I get points for trying! The products I loved in November were ones I’d had for a while but had only just started putting through their paces and I discovered some amazing things!

There wasn’t any particular category of product I was drawn to, I was completely all over the place! But there were definitely products that were standing out to me and getting used a lot more than others. Here they are!

Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Bellissima Swatches and Review

I am super late to matte liquid lipstick bandwagon. I have no idea why. I always thought they looked awesome and I was super up for trying them. I guess I just never got round to buying one. Until recently. For my birthday, I was kindly given an M&S gift card. So, naturally I ran straight for the beauty section to see what delights I could find. That’s when I realised now was my chance. I was finally going to own a matte liquid lipstick. I’d heard good things about the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks, so opted for one of those, which are £15.

After countless swatches and much deliberation, I decided on the shade Bellissima. It’s a light corally peach that I’d consider a day-to-day shade. I thought that for my first matte liquid lipstick, I wanted to choose a shade that I’d get a lot of use out of.
