Subscription boxes are a thing of beauty. There’s just something about being surprised with a selection of goodies every month. Imagine how much more exciting it is when the products are things you’ve never heard of before! The newest subscription box on the block, Little Known Box, provides just that! They specialise in bringing you great products from independent and up and coming brands.
For only £15 per month, Little Known Box brings you a variety of full-sized and deluxe-sized products ranging from skincare to hair, nails, beauty and more! Personally, I think it’s the best value and quality box in its price range and I love the added bonus of discovering new, interesting brands instead of receiving the same old brands month after month.
So what’s in the box?
Every so often you see something and think ‘That’s a brilliant idea! Why didn’t I think of that?!’. This happens to me a lot because I’m basically oblivious to most things. However, this particular thing, I’m sure we can all agree, is genius. A subscription box that sends you lots of nice goodies when you’re on your period. Pink Parcel is just that. Yes, eww, TMI, but stick with me, it contains many other non-personal items.
With Pink Parcel, periods are less awful. A couple of days before you’re ‘due on’ (you tell them when this will be), they’ll send you your box full of everything you’ll need to make it through your tough time. In every box you get: your choice of pads or tampons, tea, something sweet, something for your lady bits and beauty products. Boxes are £10.50 per month, but the first month is only £6.99.
So what’s inside?
Recently, my lovely friend Billie (from I Am Billie), along with a team of 4 other fab bloggers (listed below), put on an event in Sheffield to get a bunch of bloggers together to get to know each other, learn from each other and generally have a good time. I’m happy to say that it was a great day!
The event was hosted at Craft & Dough (formally The Wig & Pen) on Campo Lane – more on that later. The ladies who put the event together were delightful hostesses – kind, friendly and really got everyone in the mood to be sociable and get to know each other.
This month’s Cohorted Beauty Box post is a little late. Sorry, my bad, I wasn’t in when it arrived and had an agonising few days wait until I could pick it up. I promise it’s worth the wait. Recently, they’ve been knocking it out of the park with these boxes and this is definitely no exception! See last month’s here to see what I mean.
The Black Edition Beauty Box from Cohorted is a £35 per month subscription and contains 4-5 full sized high-end and luxury beauty products, with the occasional extra sample thrown in for good measure. They feature brands such as Cargo, Too Faced, bareMinerals and Nars to name a few, and the value is always incredible. I’m never disappointed. You can find more information or subscribe here.
Although I was super busy all through April and had to cut back on my beauty routine to save time, I still managed to work my way through a decent amount of products. Most of them are everyday staples, so it doesn’t shock me that much. I certainly wasn’t expecting to use up a lipstick!
Since I’ve completely finished up these products, I have a pretty good idea of how I feel about them. So, I’ll give a mini-review and let you know if they’re worth your hard-earned cash (BUY or BYE)
It’s one of my favourite days of the month again, the day when I get to rummage through the latest Blogger Beauty Box! It’s always a great box, I’ve never been disappointed, Vix Meldrew does an amazing job putting them together every month. Check out March’s box to see exactly what I mean, or stick around for this one. Or both. Either way, you’ll see what an incredible variety of products are sent!
The Blogger Beauty Box is £10 per month including delivery and is insane value for money! It’s such a useful and affordable way to try an amazing amount of products. It usually contains around 4-5 full sized or deluxe items with the odd sample size thrown in for good measure. It was designed to connect bloggers with brands and to introduce products and brands that are a little less mainstream, but still wonderful.
It’s time for another favourites post! I’ve been super busy and rushed off my feet this past month (hence how super slow I’ve been at getting posts up), but I’ve still found the time to fall in love with another batch of beauty products. Most of them have actually been making my life a lot easier, which I’m thankful for.
Quite a bit of this stuff is fairly new to me, but they’ve quickly become must-haves!
