I can’t believe it’s time again! It feels like I only did my March favourites last week! It’s a good job it’s that time really, as my favourites have been stacking up. I’ve divided them into categories again to make it easier for both of us…
Looking out of the window, all I can see is a bright blue sky filled with fluffy white clouds. I thought to myself ‘I want that on my nails!’, so I did it. It was actually really easy so I feel confident showing you guys how I did it!
What you’re gonna need:
Sometimes, it’s hard to be happy. Whether your favourite TV show has been cancelled, you’ve lost your phone or you just can’t seem to write that essay. Sometimes, life makes us feel bad. Well, I’t’ time to fight back! The lovely Ally from Messed Up Mum challenged me to come up with 50 things that make me happy. Here we go!
Like I’ve mentioned before (a lot), spring is here and it’s brought the sunshine with it! To me, that means only one thing, it’s time to whip out all of my bright, fun colourful things. That includes my nail polishes. Out with the oxbloods, out with the greys, out with the nudes! In with the fun!
Here are my top picks for the spring…
This is a little different for me. I’m usually all about the make up. This time I’m branching out into accessories! And I’m actually really excited! I recently purchased the Spring Mystery Bag from Prairie Charms over on their Twitter for just £5! If that isn’t a bargain I don’t know what is. And just look at that packaging, it’s absolutely stunning.
As well as creating the beautiful pieces I’m about to share with you, Prairie Charms gives a lot back. They have worked with the Make a Wish Foundation and are currently hosting a raffle in support of Cancer Research UK and Macmillan Cancer Support (you can find out more on their twitter). I feel that this makes them stand out from other companies as they are trying to inspire positive change, not just profits. This is why I wanted to give their products a go and I’m glad I did.
I know, I know, you want to see what I received, here it is . . .
Ombre is everywhere: hair clothes and now make up! Ombre lips are a great way to make your lips look fuller, without any painful needles or suction cup things (you know the ones I’m talking about, right?). I have created 3 lovely looks for you guys today, all using different techniques.
Look at those lips! Yes! I’ll show you how I did it . . .
Spring has sprung, the sun is shining and everything is generally brighter and happier looking. So it’s time for our lips to do the same. I’ve chosen my favourite lip colours for the spring to share with you and maybe give you some inspiration.
Let’s take a closer look . . . (Don’t judge me on my worn out packaging, my lipsticks are well loved)
