I was looking through my recent posts the other day and I realised that I haven’t done a nail art tutorial in a while. Don’t worry, I haven’t stopped doing nail art, I LOVE nail art, I just had so much other stuff to post. I’m back on my game today with a colourful, fun, easy look that’s so easy to customise. It’s a dripping paint design that’s great for summer as it looks like it’s melting in the heat!
This is the look I created:
Here’s how I did it . . .
As you may remember a couple of weeks ago, I did the Love/Hate Tag and I mentioned that the lovely Infinitely Awkward had nominated me to do another tag. Well, this is it! Seriously go check her blog out, it’s a great read and she’s so super nice.
The Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award recognises the unique voices of women bloggers around the world.
1. Thank and link the blogger who nominated you.
2. Answer the 10 questions your nominator has provided.
3. Nominate other bloggers.
4. Create 10 questions for your nominees and notify them of their nomination.
As you may know, I won an amaaazing prize at the Bloggers Unite Event the other week. Part of this prize was the entire range of Dusty Girls make up. You read the right, the ENTIRE range. As in, every single product they make. That’s crazy! Obviously, I was ridiculously excited to try everything. And at this point I have tried almost everything and I thought I’d tell you what I think about them. The only products I haven’t tried are the Earth Cream and Mineral Foundation (which were not my particular shade of pasty white) and the mascara (because I don’t need to open a new one).
Dusty Girls is an Australian brand, created by the same company that makes Moogoo. Their products are all-natural, technically edible (although I’d recommend eating actual food over cosmetics any day) and cruelty free. Although they’re based on Australia, they ship worldwide and you can find them here.
This is all the stuff I’ll be talking about:
Hey guys, today’s post is an exciting one! I’ve had a great couple of weeks with my blog. I went to my first event, my views shot up out of nowhere and I just hit 100 WordPress followers this week!
To celebrate, I’m doing a little bit of a giveaway. I wanted to make sure that it was the kind of stuff you see me blog about, so I’ve made sure there’s a mixture of make up and accessories. Hopefully, there’ll be something in there that you’ll love.
Without further ado, here are the prizes and how to enter:
It’s getting brighter, it’s getting warmer, it’s time to change up what I’m wearing. Out with jeans and jumpers, bring on dresses and shorts! When I change what I’m wearing, I change up my accessories too, to make an outfit complete or just to make it more interesting than a t-shirt and shorts.
Sometimes it’s hard to know where to start, but I’ve managed to whittle it down to 5 types of accessories I’ll be rocking all summer.
A month or two ago, I was invited along to the Bloggers Unite Summer ’15 Event, which took place on 13th June. I couldn’t believe I’d invited as I’d only just started my blog. I immediately said yes, even though it meant travelling all the way back home to Sheffield.
This event, held at Eat Eten cafe, was hosted by Emma, Hannah and Frankie (you should really check out their blogs, they’re awesome). As well as socialising and learning about new products, we were there to raise money for Look Good, Feel Better. They’re a charity who help girls and women who have cancer feel better about themselves. They offer make up classes, products and support to help make girls feel beautiful during a tough time.
I never realised how many products I got through until I started saving the packaging for these posts. I’m actually quite impressed with myself for finishing so many things!
I’ll be giving mini reviews on the products and whether or not I’d repurchase (BUY or BYE). It’s time to throw away all the old stuff to make room for the new, so let’s get into it!
