Candles and wax melts are some of my favourite products for the home, especially this time of year! There’s nothing better to make your home feel warm and cosy when it’s cold outside. It’s even more enjoyable when they look adorable!
Jekyll’s Candles* are a new, handmade British soy wax melts company, available on Etsy and I have to say, they win for cutest wax melt designs!
I am in love with the skulls, shells and cameo designs – they’re too pretty to use. I’m saving them for last so that I can display them. It gets pretty boring seeing melts that just come in round pots, it’s such a nice change to see some interesting designs.
This month’s Little Known Box is even more exciting than usual, as it’s their half-birthday! I can’t believe they’ve only been around for six months, it feels like their boxes have been a part of my life forever! In six months, I’ve never been disappointed and have fallen in love with so many new brands thanks to this box!
To celebrate, they’ve included a couple of extra goodies this month and incorporated a few luxury brands! You can now also take a survey on their site to make your box more tailored and personalised to your tastes and needs.
I have been on a roll finishing products lately. And that’s awesome! It means I have more room (for new things!) and I’ve been able to make up my mind about what I like and don’t like, so that I don’t waste my money on sucky products in the future.
Since I’ve completely finished all this stuff up, I’ve formed some fairly strong opinions on them. So, I’ll be reviewing each item and telling you whether you should BUY them or say BYE. There’s a lot to get through, so I’ll keep it brief!

One of the greatest things about subscription boxes is trying out things that you wouldn’t have picked for yourself and LOVING them. That’s what happened with a few of the products in this month’s Little Known Box! There were a couple of items I would have normally dodged but I ended up being obsessed with!
This month’s theme was Face Firsts, containing the perfect mix of products to have you looking fabulous and glam for the autumn as well as looking amazing without makeup!
I know this post is super late, sometimes life gets in the way and suddenly it’s three weeks later than I thought it was! Sorry if it seems irrelevant now, but I’m going to post it anyway because I’m pretty excited about how much product I managed to burn through.

I feel like he Cohorted box has slowly evolved since it began. It used to just contain older products from established brands, that were either being discontinued or that were widely available. In more recent boxes, however, they’ve begun to include products from brands that we aren’t familiar with and I really like that. It’s nice to not be receiving the same brands over and over again and it’s allowing me to discover some really awesome brands that I wouldn’t have looked into otherwise. Subscriptions boxes are awesome, right? But sometimes they send you the same things over and over again, or only include tiny samples of products and that sucks. That’s why I love Little Known Box. Their aim is to introduce you to brands and products that aren’t as mainstream, so it’s really rare to get something you’ve had before!
August’s theme is Summer Nights! It contains products to keep you looking and feeling great through all the fun events that happen this time of year – weddings, BBQs, festival etc.
