Last month, I was introduced to the Blogger Beauty Box and I loved it so much, I decided to get it again! (You can see what was included here.) The Blogger Beauty Box is a month-to-month purchase box, costing £10 including p&p. For that, you typically receive 4-5 full-sized and deluxe-sized beauty products. No teeny tiny one-time use samples here! That’s pretty incredible value if you ask me.
There were a few teasers released for this box that got me really excited. Firstly, I knew there was going to be a really high-end end skincare product – who doesn’t love a bit of pampering?! Then, I saw that there would be a makeup item included in each box that was chosen specifically for each one of us – how’s that for customer service?!
Without further ado, let’s dive right in to the box…
This is pretty much supposed to be a miracle cream! It’s supposed to reduce the appearance of pretty much everything from bruises to stretch marks to surgical scars to acne scars. It aims to do this whilst still being gentle on the skin, moisturising dry patches and not containing any parabens or lanolin. On top of that, Puriskin works with two breast cancer charities, as it’s breast cancer awareness month, I can definitely see why it was included in the box! I have a scar on my arm and a few stretch marks here and there that I’ll be trying this out on for a few weeks before reporting back – I really hope it works!
This was the much anticipated high-end skincare item. It’s an exceptionally large bottle of essence. You apply a few drops to the face and neck before your moisturiser. Technically, this particular serum is designed for anti-aging. After reading up on it a little bit more, I discovered that the Supreme range is supposed to protect from environmental damage and reduce redness. I could benefit from both of those things so I’m going to incorporate into my routine and see if I notice any improvements.
I’m really excited to try this! I’ve been meaning to try a cleansing oil for quite a while now, I just haven’t gotten round to it. Cleansing oils just melt away makeup with minimal effort and add moisture back into the skin rather than stripping it. Reading the ingredients list of this product is a dream. It’s just fantastic natural oil after oil, no added nasties. Again, I shall keep you updated.
This is a 100% natural lipstick, suitable for vegans and I had the shade chosen for me. I received Fudge, a really pretty nude. I don’t have any lipsticks that look like this, all the other nude lipsticks I have are quite pink-toned, so it’s nice to have some options. I’ll be wearing this with smoky eye looks for sure! The formula is smooth, pigmented and not at all drying. Great job choosing my product, Vicky!
Vitamin E creams are another staple product that I’ve always meant to try but never have. The smell of this product alone is lovely and comforting, it smells like the kind of moisturiser your grandma would use, in the best way possible. It’s traditional. Vitamin E is moisturising and gentle. As soon as my current moisturiser is finished up, which should be soon, I’ll be switching to this one. As my skin is on the oilier side, I’ll probably only use it at night.
That’s everything in this box; I really liked it! There is pretty much a full skincare routine, a pretty lipstick and a possible miracle cream in there. I can’t see anything I don’t like. By the way, the value of this £10 beauty box was over £100, that’s crazy! As most of the products were skincare, I can’t review them very well without having tested them for a while, so I’ll probably update you on a few of after I’ve put them through their paces.
I’m in love with this beauty box, I’m already signed up for next month! What do you think?
See you next time!
